1. How do I become a member?
 
Simply complete a current membership application and mail it, along with payment, to the Alberta Triathlon Association office (please remember to sign the Acknowledgement of Risk). To prevent any delays, please complete as much information as possible prior to mailing.
 
Membership is for one full year (12 months) and expires one year from the month it is taken out. Your membership card will be mailed to you.
 
Membership fees: Adult: $45; Junior $25; Family $90

2. What are the member benefits?
 
As a member of the Alberta Triathlon Association, not only will you enjoy the numerous benefits membership offers but you will also be supporting the development and improvement of the quality of races, programs, and services for Albertas multi-sport athletes, as well as helping to cover the cost of disability and accident insurance, administration services and expenses, and transition production.

4. How do I plan for my first triathlon?
 
Along with our Getting Started Tips, we recommend contacting an affiliated club  to assist you with preparing for your first triathlon experience. You may also want to check with your local recreation facility to see if they offer any triathlon clinics and your local book store for a selection of books on the sport.
 
5. How do I choose a club that's right for me?
 

When looking for a club, consider whether it:
  • trains close to where you live
  • has a training schedule that fits your life and work schedule
  • has members with whom you enjoy spending time
